Dennis co-produced this song as a gift to the Salvadoran people who he has never known.  Gabriel and Dennis will be visiting families over the next week, Lord willing, and as they do Dennis will share this song in their home or out in the streets of the rural communities they will visit.  This is the first version of song because after returning the USA Dennis plans on having his friend Josh, the liaison for this trip, play lead guitar.  This second version should have video footage of trip as Dennis sings!

The goal is to use music as a tool to bless the people, as well as to help with other practical needs in the context of providing food and friendship in the love of Christ to families affected by HIV, AIDS and cancer. It's also an opportunity for Dennis' son Gabriel to experience another culture which is critical for multiple reasons.

Evil and sin coexist in our broken world and universe; not all evil is because of willful sin. The fact that evil and sin exist is enough to conclude that many people are living without hope and it requires sacrifice to show marginalized people the eternal glory of the Gospel message! In our chaotic world, children in poverty can think that there is no hope; but it's our job to teach and preach, through a living example, that the Resurrection of Christ brings hope even if current circumstances are unfair and abounding with adversity, tribulation and despair.

Video #07: A GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE ON HOPE: This is love endures international's final video prior to the upcoming trip. Brother's in Christ, Dennis, James and Josh, talk about the global need for hope among lonely, marginalized and rejected people. When extreme poverty is added the equation, it demands a response from God's ambassadors who have an obligation to live out the Gospel through faith, hope and charity in a hurting world. Dennis and Josh are from the USA and James is from the West African nation of Liberia. Finally, in terms of the concepts just described, we bring to remembrance St. Paul's statement in Sacred Scripture concerning "today" being the "day of salvation." AMEN...HALLELUJAH!
Dennis Michael Egan, Jr. wrote and co-produced this song for Fr. Loren Kalinowski who retired last year after 49 years of ministry. He is now ministering in the less stressful context of his retirement season of life. Thus, Fr. Loren is now nearing his 50th year in public ministry, giving all honor and praise to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Dennis and Teresa Egan founded love endures international in 2006 as a name for their family ministry of volunteering and support in various areas throughout society. Their son Gabriel was completing his junior year at Sacred Heart Academy when Fr. Loren retired last year. As Gabriel gets ready to finish his senior year and graduate this spring, he will be experiencing the culture in El Salvador with his father, Dennis, as they go to minister to children and families affected by the impact of HIV, AIDS and cancer, as well as rural Central American poverty.

​Consequently, it's all together fitting, to use a phrase from Lincoln's speech nearly 162 years ago, that Dennis and Gabriel are dedicating this trip to the honor of Fr. Loren and a few others. The precious people they will be encountering in Central America need hope, as we all do, and the concept of the Old Testament Jubilee (7 cycles of 7 years equalling 49 and culminating the 50th year) is profoundly relevant in light of the aforementioned testimony about this tenderhearted man of God!  Fr. Loren, Dennis is thankful that you are one of his brothers in Christ, as well as a spiritual father!

Dennis and Teresa Egan conceived the idea for this website back around 2006, which was about two years after they were married.  The goal is to live out Matthew 25 in human society, as a witness to the hope of the Lord Jesus Christ among all nations and people groups.  More to come...Lord willing!
