TODAY THE FAITH TO MOVE FORWARD BEGAN!

Today, Dennis and Teresa had the news confirmed that their four-year-old, David, is on the Autism spectrum. Dennis also believed that Jehovah-God-our-Father confirmed that a journey to Nicaragua, this coming Christmas, is in divine order. So, now the planning begins. The first thing they will do, besides continuing in prayer, is to reach out to their friend Joshua, in North Carolina, and let him know that they desire to have a mutual partnership with him as it relates to the administrative aspect of getting a team together for service and encouragement to our neighbors in this great Central American nation (which happens to be the second poorest one in the Western hemisphere, Haiti being first). So, l.e.i. will continue to post information and hope that this endeavor will come to past in what should be a trip beginning and ending in less than 10 months from now!

This trip should be a blessing because Americans are encouraged more by the faith of the local people than the local people are by the Americans coming. However, it's all perspective because, while the faith of the Nicaraguan people is greater than the materialism of wealthy Americans, the deeds of the Americans, who are called to be good stewards of the financial prosperity they were born into, are in fact a blessing to the locals in Nicaragua because of Christ's love being the reason for the journey to serve in the first place!
